Duncan Aviation has received a supplemental type certificate for installation of Aircell's cabin telecommunications router, which supports Wi-Fi access in the cabin for Aircell's Gogo Biz inflight Internet service. The STCs are applicable for the Hawker 800XP and 850XP, and the Falcon 900, 2000 and 2000EX EASy. Aircellπs Gogo Biz inflight Internet service provides high-speed connectivity, allowing passengers to use laptops, BlackBerrys, iPhones and other Wi-Fi devices at speeds of 1 to 3 Mbps. The installed system consists of a high-speed data unit, wireless router and two belly-mounted antennas. The new STCs join previous Duncan approvals of Aircell's Gogo Biz for the Falcon 900EX Easy, Challenger 300, Citation Sovereign and Citation X. Installation requires approximately 10 days and the installed price starts at about $125,000.
