Embraer released its first market outlook dedicated to the Chinese market at Airshow China 2008 in the People’s Republic of China. In it,

the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer forecasts a total demand for 875 new regional aircraft over the next 20 years, ranging from smaller 30-seat jets up to those configured for 120 seats. Embraer is involved in a joint venture in China known as Harbin-Embraer to produce and sell Embraer ERJ 135s and ERJ 145s.
