Club Airways, the Geneva-based members-only executive airline, has resumed operations under new ownership and management; it had filed for bankruptcy in late April. The company has resumed service with Citation IIs, Vs and Bravos between Geneva and Paris with three weekly flights, and plans to step up to two daily flights in late August. As in the past, Club Airways does not operate aircraft, but wet-leases them from the charter market. The company is seeking to establish long-term wet-lease agreements with Swiss operators, but has not announced any such agreement to date. Magma Investment of London has extended a $165,000 credit to Club Airways against an option to acquire all shares in circulation between now and next May 30. The company’s new management includes CEO Dominic Sandell and Deborah Weber, in charge of customer relations. Club Airways founder and former CEO Hans Schwab is no longer with the company.
