Derco Aerospace has signed an agreement with the Royal Netherlands Air Force to provide two C-130 transports. The U.S. firm will provide the RNLAF with all necessary components, repair and overhaul of components, engines, propellers and spare parts. Marshall of Cambridge Aerospace will provide refurbishment labor and services at its UK facility.
Here at Asian Aerospace, Derco Aerospace (Stand D132) also announced an agreement to distribute and install Meta-Fleet Blue BAUX systems on C-130 aircraft. The BAUX is a usage monitoring system for the C-130 equivalent baseline hour (EBH) developed to automate the measurement and tracking requirements in Service Bulletin 82-788. The system employs GPS technology to automatically measure, record, track and calculate highly accurate wing EBH information.
The company has also recently signed several agreements with the Spanish Air Force to provide upgrades, spares and repairs to support its fleet in 2006 and 2007. It will provide F-5 environmental control system (ECS) upgrades to the entire F-5 fleet. Derco will incorporate the new ECS system offered by Hamilton Sundstrand.
