Gulfstream Aerospace has named Tim Waterman as its new senior v-p and CFO, effective February 1. The announcement follows the appointment of former Gulfstream CFO Josh Thompson as president of General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS). Thompson has worked for General Dynamics for almost 25 years.
Waterman brings a 27-year track record from across the General Dynamics organization to his new role at Gulfstream. Most recently, he served as director of financial planning and analysis, where he was responsible for developing operating plans and forecasts for the senior leadership team. His experience spans several General Dynamics businesses including Electric Boat, Advanced Information Systems, and Missions Systems.
“Tim brings a wealth of experience from across the General Dynamics organization and has been an influential member of the company for nearly three decades,” said Gulfstream president Mark Burns. “We look forward to having his expertise and guidance as a member of the Gulfstream leadership team.”
Burns also recognized the significant contributions of outgoing CFO Josh Thompson during his tenure at Gulfstream. “Josh has been a tremendous asset to our business since joining Gulfstream in 2020. He is a highly respected leader with an acute business acumen and we wish him much continued success at OTS,” he said.
