Aviall Inks Series of Deals at Farnborough Show
Contract with Antonov calls for Boeing unit to manage supply chain procurement for An-1X8

Boeing’s Aviall subsidiary (Chalet B6) has signed a supply chain management agreement with Ukraine’s Antonov, a distribution deal with Canada’s International WaterGuard (IWG), and a parts-support contract with Luxembourg’s Cargolux, Aviall announced on Wednesday at the Farnborough Airshow.

The agreement with Antonov includes support for production of the Ukrainian company’s newest aircraft program, the An-1X8. Under the deal, Aviall will manage supply-chain procurement for Antonov production, including logistics and forward stocking concepts.

The IWG contract involves a 10-year distribution pact for lavatory water heaters for Boeing 737, 747, 767 and 777 fleets. Finally, the Cargolux parts support agreement allows the freight carriers to continue operating its 747-400G fleet by meeting engine induction needs for up to 33 engine refurbishment shop visits.
