Based in Hollywood, Florida, Heico’s Flight Support Group has taken full ownership of Carbon by Design. The company was created in 2003 and specializes in engineering and producing hard-to-design and difficult-to-produce carbon composite components for commercial launch vehicles and scacecraft, and for UAV programs. Located in Oceanside, California, Carbon by Design will join Heico’s Specialty Products Group, which produces composite parts for commercial aviation and defense applications.
