GKN (Stand F87) will provide China’s Avic Commercial Aircraft Engine (ACAE) with low-pressure turbine shafts for the in-development CJ1000 turbofan. The engine, designed to power Chinese commercial aircraft, will use GKN’s components for tests. Under the contract, the shafts will be delivered within 12 months. They will be manufactured at GKN’s Norway factory.
