U.S. aerospace supplier Lord Corp. has named Joel Rood president of the company’s sales region covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Before joining Lord, Rood served as CEO of sustainable building supply company Calstar Products.

“Joel brings a wealth of experience to our EMEA region,” said Lord Corp. president and CEO Ed Auslander. “His strong background in business development and operations align well with our strategic objectives, and we’re confident in his ability to drive innovation and growth in this important region.”

Rood began his career at Schlumberger International, where he held various marketing and field service roles across Norway, France and Africa. He later held senior positions covering the North American, European and Asian markets at MTS Systems, Hilti, James Hardy Building Products and CertainTeed.
