VIH Aerospace Receives Master Caution Panel STC
New master caution panel is available for retrofit on the Bell 212.

Maintenance, repair and overhaul group VIH Aerospace has just received an FAA supplemental type certificate for its aftermarket replacement master caution panel (MCP01) for the Bell 212 series. Approval from EASA is expected in during the third quarter of 2015.

The MCP01 is a collaboration between the Canadian company and Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing. It is 50 percent lighter, draws 75 percent less current and runs cooler than legacy master caution panels. It also supports a state recorder that digitally monitors and records annunciator status for flight data management systems. It does all this while using existing helicopter wiring and connectors.

VIH Aerospace supports various Bell Helicopter models, Sikorsky S-61/S-92 and Airbus AS350 helicopters. The company has just recruited Dave McGrath as director of sales, marketing and business development.
