Marenco Swisshelicopter has selected Donaldson Aerospace & Defense to provide the fuel filtration system for its new Skye SH09 helicopter. The equipment will protect the performance of the Honeywell HTS900-2 turboshaft that will power the eight-seat helicopter. Donaldson specializes in making lightweight, advanced filtration systems.

Separately, U.S-based Donaldson has won a Bronze Award under Airbus’s supply chain and quality improvement program for continuous improvement in the delivery and quality of the equipment it provides for various of the European manufacturer’s aircraft. Donaldson (Hall 2b D92) supplies products including avionics cooling systems, air pressurization subsystems for hydraulic systems and high-efficiency particulate air filters for cabin air systems. These are used on Airbus models including the latest A380 and A350 XWB airliners.
