Former U.S. Senator Mel Martinez has joined the board of directors of Military Parts Exchange (MPX) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a global supplier of nonmunition
military aircraft parts and equipment. The company (Stand T73) hopes to benefit from his “vast experience and a significant network of international military and government contacts.” Martinez said, “I look forward to helping the company grow, particularly in the markets that I know well, like Spain and Latin America.” While in the Senate, Martinez served on the Armed Services Committee.
