Satcom1, the European satellite communications service provider, is hiring engineers and sales people in Paris and Copenhagen to meet increasing market demand, the company announced. It acts as a consultant to its customers, offering what the company said are unbiased options about voice and data connectivity aboard business aircraft. The Danish firm realized it needed to add staff to meet the need for added technical support, customer training and engineering work related to the design of customized applications. “The growing market request for more complex satcom solutions and services like GSM and live tv onboard the aircraft has increased the importance of single point of contact with clients,” said Satcom1 CEO Rino Ranheim. Satcom1 provides Inmarsat and Iridium calling services.
