Nextant Aerospace’s remanufactured 400XTi received STC approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China late last week. The validation acknowledges that the remanufactured Beechjet 400A/400XP satisfies all CAAC airworthiness requirements and thus paves the way for deliveries to begin in China. According to Nextant, the first 400XTi to go to a Chinese customer will be delivered in next year’s first quarter. This sale was secured by state-owned Avic International Aero-Development, which was tapped earlier this year as Nextant’s exclusive sales representative for the Greater China region, including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Meanwhile, Nextant appointed Staeco Beijing Business Jet Maintenance yesterday as its first authorized service center in the Greater China region.
