Signature’s Footprint Grows in the Caribbean’s Sand
Chain adds FBO 2000 chain and its three Caribbean locations.

Signature Flight Support has added three more FBOs to its network with the acquisition of the FBO 2000 chain and its three Caribbean locations. The purchase includes FBOs at V.C. Bird Antigua International Airport, R. Bradshaw International Airport in St. Kitts, and Vance W. Amory International Airport in Nevis. Signature Antigua has a 3,800-sq-ft executive terminal with passenger lounge, offices and 14,300 sq ft of hangar space and aircraft-to-yacht service, while the St. Kitts and Nevis locations each have offices at their respective airports for passenger handling and coordination services to expedite customs and immigration clearance. Both the Antigua and St. Kitts locations have extensive ramp space, offering remote parking options for aircraft heading to St. Maarten.

“We are pleased to welcome three new Caribbean leisure and business destinations to our global portfolio with an established reputation for excellent service,” said Signature president and COO Maria Sastre. The newly acquired FBOs join the service provider’s locations in the region, including San Juan, Puerto Rico and St. Maarten. The BBA Aviation subsidiary also recently signed a licensing agreement with Blue Heron Aviation at the Turks and Caicos’ Providenciales International Airport, which is expected to open this month.
