Jet Aviation expanded its MRO and FBO network with the addition of a new facility at Vienna International Airport. The company recently signed agreements with Gate V and Fame Executive Aviation, the previous MRO and FBO service providers at the field, to establish Jet Aviation Vienna. Its business aviation terminal features an operations office, crew lounge and access to a VIP passenger lounge, along with offerings such as lavatory service and aircraft refueling. Jet Aviation Vienna also can provide AOG and line maintenance from its brand-new 43,000-sq-ft (4,000-sq-m) hangar.

“As a key gateway to the east, Vienna International Airport is among the top ten most important airports in Europe in terms of business aviation traffic and represents a key market for Jet Aviation,” said Stefan Benz, the company’s vice president for MRO and FBO operations, EMEA and Asia. Jet Aviation also appointed Dennis Kohr, previously director of sales and customer support for the company’s Basel facility, as managing director of the Vienna location.
