Continuing its planned growth in the region, Dallas Aeronautical Services (DAS) Brazil is expanding into a new facility in São José dos Campos, Brazil. DAS Brazil will begin operating there in the first half of next year. A subsidiary of Dallas Aeronautical Services, DAS Brazil produces, repairs and overhauls composites, structures and assemblies.

DAS operates a facility in the technical park at São José dos Campos, which it uses as an R&D office and for new project and contract development.

The new 16,200-sq-ft facility will be located in the Eldorado Centro Commercial e Industrial Business Park and will operate with certification from ANAC, the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil. It will feature two 11- by nine-foot paint booths (one for sanding, the other for painting); one nine- by 13-foot curing oven; and a 16.5- by 16.5-foot climate-controlled modular clean room.
