Organizers of the Helitech 2014 show last month in Amsterdam appear unfazed by a sharp drop in attendance. The number of visitors at the new show venue–2,500–was released last week by show organizer Reed Exhibitions, and the tally compares unfavorably with last year’s 5,600 attendees in London. “We are developing a new visitor community, from a much wider geographical spread,” said a spokesman, who asserted that the event retains the support of many long-established exhibitors. Next year’s Helitech will be held in London from October 6 to 8.
