Completion and refurbishment specialist Flying Colours of Peterborough, Ontario, announced a joint-venture agreement with China-based Sparkle Roll Technik (SRT) that focuses on business jet cabin modifications and maintenance. The first project, scheduled to begin this week, will see eight China B-registered Bombardier CRJ200s (procured by SRT) converted from commuter to executive interiors mirroring the Challenger 850. The first conversions will be performed at Flying Colours’ Peterborough facility and are expected to take eight months each. Flying Colours will develop and own STCs for the conversions, which will be validated by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
