Flight department training provider Advanced Aircrew Academy unveiled a new management tool at NBAA 2014 that interprets the applicability of annual changes to the International Standard for Business Aviation Operations (IS-BAO) for individual flight departments.

Noting that keeping track of those changes “can require an advanced degree in IS-BAO,” the Johns Island, S.C.-based company said that the new resource assesses each revision published annually by the International Business Aviation Council.

The tool then identifies the recommended implementation and documentation changes for the specific operation, including any applicable revisions to the operator’s safety management system, flight operations, general operations and international ops manuals.
