Jet Aviation Moves To the Bahamas
During the NBAA show the business aviation services company signed a management agreement with Executive Flight Support

Starting January 1 next year Jet Aviation will add an FBO in the Bahamas to its global network. During the NBAA show the business aviation services company signed a management agreement with Executive Flight Support (EFS), based at Lynden Pindling International Airport at Nassau, the primary gateway to the Bahamas.

EFS has been offering FBO and other services in the Bahamas since 1990. For EFS the tie-up with Jet Aviation will further enhance the services that can be offered, as well as allow expansion to cater for a growing market. As of January the facility will be re-branded as Jet Aviation Bahamas.

Currently EFS operates a 305,000-sq-ft apron, but that is to be repaved and expanded by a further 174,000 sq ft. The existing 20,000 sq ft of hangarage will significantly increase, starting the next year with the first of four planned 25,000-sq-ft hangars. The 10,000-sq-ft terminal building will be remodeled with a new lobby, pilot’s lounge, VIP rooms and conference rooms.
