Montreal-based Innotech Aviation completed its first installation of a Honeywell Ovation Select Cabin Management System (CMS) in concurrence with a 120-month inspection on a Bombardier Global Express.

“Our customer was looking for a solution where the existing control switches would be retained and still provide digital functionality of the Ovation Select CMS, wireless control of the cabin and avoid having to build new side ledge structures and reproduce the unique intricate side ledge inlays,” said Gesse Sciacca, director of avionics engineering at the completions and refurbishment provider. “This [solution] drastically reduces downtime and cost.” According to Sciacca, the Honeywell Ovation Select system was best suited to fulfill the customer’s needs. “Our job is to design, develop, engineer and integrate industry innovation for long range, one-of-a-kind business aircraft, specifically the Global jet series.”
