Lincoln, Neb.-based MRO facility Duncan Aviation announced its newly added ability to overhaul and repair landing gear assemblies on Embraer 135 and 145 and Legacy 600 and 650 models. The company recently completed its first ERJ-145 landing gear overhaul, a task that company accessories team leader Tony Curtis said provided “no surprises” over other business aircraft landing gear systems overhauled by Duncan during the past 30 years.

In related news, Duncan recently delivered its 100th finished jet, a Falcon 7X, from an expanded 175,000-sq-ft completion center at Lincoln Airport. The new facility opened in January. Airframe manager Chad Doehring said that Duncan averages between seven and nine aircraft at a time in each of two hangar areas. The company also announced a new licensing agreement with Elbit Systems of America, allowing Duncan to become the first non-Elbit company authorized to service avionics manufactured by Intercontinental Dynamics Corp and Kollsman.

The company offers Duncan Debrief, which features a revised timeline for “Dates You Need to Know,” outlining mandated deadlines for equipping with NextGen systems. The company also recently released an updated guide covering phased interior maintenance, a method for operators to better plan and budget for aircraft interior repair upgrades and replacement.
