UVair FBO Network Reaches 25 Members
The group welcomes the three members of the Sacramento Jet Center Group as it reaches a membership milestone.

Launched in 2012, the UVair FBO Network, a joint venture partnership between Universal Aviation & Weather and fuel supplier Epic Aviation, now lists 25 locations in its group of independently operated upscale FBOs, with the recent addition of the three facilities of the Sacramento Jet Center (SACjet) chain.

The California-based company was recently awarded with the lease for the sole FBO at county-owned Mather Field–with an 11,300-foot main runway–and is also the lone service provider at both Sacramento Executive and Sacramento International airports, all of which will wear the UVair brand. “As we take over the FBO operation at Sacramento’s Mather Field, we wanted to bring the premier FBO experience to the entire Sacramento aviation community,” said Sacramento Jet Center owner and president Scott Powell. “The UVair FBO Network has demonstrated the ability to help its members do this.”

The Mather Jet Center is home to 10 jets and 15 turboprops and has a 7,500-sq-ft FBO with 50,000-sq-ft of hangar space, while Sacramento Executive has a 15,000-sq-ft terminal and 40,000 sq ft of indoor aircraft storage for its 18 based turbine aircraft. The Sacramento International facility has a 25,000-sq-ft FBO with office space, 11 jets among its 180 based aircraft and 84,000 sq ft of hangar space. All three locations are open 24 hours and feature on-site car rental, pilot lounges, complimentary Wi-Fi and crew cars.

FBOs selected for inclusion in UVair’s network (Booth 3400) offer upscale facilities, outstanding customer service and a track record of exemplary safety in their operation. “We are excited about the rapid growth of the network, giving our clients more options throughout North America,” said Steve McCullough, Epic’s senior vice president for business development and strategy. “This network is here to support you, and we are thankful for the support that has allowed us to reach 25 members in just a few years.”
