Russell “Buck” Myers has been named avionics supervisor for Cutter Aviation’s service department where he will be responsible for all operational aspects of Cutter’s Avionics department. Myers has worked in aircraft avionics as a technical inspector and supervisor of electrical component repair for more than 20 years. His background includes experience with the U.S. Army, Boeing, several general aviation facilities and operating his own avionics shop.
A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Myers holds aviation maintenance technician certification. Prior to attending Embry-Riddle, he served with the U.S. Army where he worked on Apache and Blackhawk helicopters, specializing in electrical and avionics systems, safety management, accident prevention and leadership development. Most recently he has supported corporate and general aviation aircraft, including Beechcraft, Piper and Cessna products.
