The services division of Comlux is offering Bombardier Global 8C inspections and the first is in progress. A Bombardier-authorized service facility since 2009, Comlux performed the first fuselage crown skin replacement on a Bombardier Global XRS in 2012, following a lightning strike.
The MRO also announced the addition of the Learjet 70/75 to its OpsSpec. “As an authorized service center for Learjet, we are pleased to have this join our list of approved aircraft,” said Jim Soleo, CEO of Comlux America.
Comlux America Services is one of the first companies to secure a supplemental type certificate for Fans 1/A+ equipment on Challenger 600s through 604s. The modification provides continued access to the most desirable locations while reducing the operating costs and flight time. Downtime for the installation is minimal, said the company. Comlux currently has its first customer for the installation of Fans on a Challenger 601.
Indianapolis-based Comlux America is part of Comlux The Aviation Group, a provider of high-end aviation services that includes aircraft management, charter, aircraft sales and acquisitions, aircraft cabin designs and completions, aircraft engineering services, aircraft maintenance, and avionics design and integration.
