Dutch Authorities Release Preliminary MH17 report
MH17 report offered no surprises after Dutch investigation.

The preliminary accident report the Dutch Safety Board released last week into the July 17 crash of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 said the aircraft was downed after “impacts from a large number of high-energy objects from outside the aircraft,” widely believed to be a surface-to-air missile. The report was based on cockpit voice recorder data and photos obtained from the accident site because security concerns prevented investigators from gaining access to the Ukraine location.
