Aircraft Electronics Association Annual Convention Kicks Off In Nashville
Sean Tucker, honorary chairman of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Young Eagles program, will give the keynote speech at Aircraft Electronics Association Convention & Tradeshow.

The 57th annual Aircraft Electronics Association Convention & Tradeshow opens today, welcoming avionics dealers and manufacturers to the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. As usual, one of the show’s highlights is tomorrow’s New Product Introductions, which begin after the opening ceremony and keynote speech by Sean Tucker, honorary chairman of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Young Eagles program.

A new feature at this year’s AEA show is a Bring Your Customer Day on Saturday, March 15. Planned as a trial run this year, the special event allows avionics dealers to bring customers to the show’s exhibit hall to view the latest avionics technology. Dealers must accompany each customer at all times, and customers must pay a $50 fee, which includes attendance at Saturday’s 8 a.m. ADS-B and NextGen general session.

In addition to technical classes for avionics installers and repair technicians, the AEA show features a number of sessions covering a variety of topics. These range from drone maintenance opportunities to regulatory updates and AEA’s annual awards luncheon.
