Signature Flight Support acquired the FBO assets of the Jets facility at London Biggin Hill Airport last week. Jets will continue to operate its core business of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul, while Signature will own and operate the FBO assets.

This latest addition complements Signature’s other London locations at Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick airports. According to Signature, Biggin Hill is ranked in the top 15 European business/general aviation airports and is the third busiest business and general aviation airport in the UK. Biggin Hill is also closest to the eastern portion of the city of London and Canary Wharf. In addition, the airport is not slot-constrained, and is a designated port of entry and a dedicated business and general aviation field.

Signature retained the existing Jets FBO team, while the facilities–which include a passenger lounge, Wi-Fi, crew rest area, shower, meeting room and a refreshments area–will soon be rebranded with Signature’s identity.
