Premium sunglasses and luggage retailer Scheyden Precision Eyewear (Booth No. 3408) is highlighting its aviation-themed product line and recent partnership with civil aerobatic helicopter pilot Chuck Aaron, throughout its appearance at Heli-Expo 2014. Scheyden is a first-time exhibitor at Heli-Expo.

Scheyden recently signed Aaron, chief helicopter pilot and maintenance director of Red Bull North America, as a product spokesman. Aaron accepted HAI’s “Pilot of the Year” award during a dinner ceremony Wednesday evening.

Among the products on display at Scheyden’s booth are the new C-130 aviation sunglasses, featuring titanium frames, scratch-resistant and water-repellant mineral glass lenses, and spring-loaded hinges to accommodate headsets. The C-130 line complements the El Capitan line of flip-up sunglasses, a feature the company notes is particularly well-suited for helicopter pilots who can’t spare much time with their hands off the cyclic or collective.

Attendees may also check out Scheyden’s recently launched True Aviator Steam Gauge watch, which offers an “Aide-Memoire Bi-Directional ATIS Bezel” as a paperless backup to record information received from automated terminal information service briefings.
