Bombardier Aerospace has chosen Singapore to open its newest regional support office (RSO), the Canadian manufacturer announced on Tuesday. The office is Bombardier’s fifth in the Asia Pacific region and its 21st overall.
“With more than 300 CRJ and Q-Series [aircraft] in operation or on order in the greater China and Asia-Pacific region, our customer base counts on Bombardier support teams embedded locally,” said Todd Young, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft vice president for customer services and support. “By centralizing our technical expertise and operations support in Singapore, we will significantly bolster our response times, create more efficient local decision-making abilities, and most importantly…ensure efficient operations of Bombardier commercial aircraft within the southeast Asia region.”
The Singapore RSO is located alongside Bombardier Commercial Aircraft’s regional Asia Pacific sales office. It will “fully integrate” with Bombardier’s customer response center, wholly owned and authorized service centers and other facilities, Young said.
