Volo Aviation Adds FBO
The FBO at MidCoast Regional Airport at Wright Army Airfield is now managed by Volo Aviation.

Volo Aviation has been awarded the contract to manage the FBO at MidCoast Regional Airport at Wright Army Airfield, a joint public- and military-use airport located within Fort Stewart, 35 miles from Savannah. In 2007, several local agencies partnered to build a 13,825-sq-ft terminal to house both the military and civilian operations at the airport. Managed for the past five years by ABS, the FBO terminal includes an airy, glass-enclosed lobby, with a passenger lounge, 20-seat A/V-equipped conference room, training room, offices, flight-planning room, pilot lounge, snooze room, showers and complimentary Wi-Fi. For Connecticut-based Volo, the new location marks its fifth FBO. The company sees the location as an ideal fuel stop for aircraft transiting the eastern seaboard down to the Caribbean.
