The rugged Kodiak turboprop is about to get a softer side. Manufacturer Quest Aircraft announced here at the NBAA show that development work on its new Summit Executive interior is nearly complete, with the first installation slated for the end of the year. An upgrade of the company’s Timberline cabin, the new interior will be available in warm beige or cool gray color schemes. “With new cabin chairs, tables, cabinetry and other amenities that customers can choose from, the Summit is a true executive interior,” said Steve Zinda, the company’s vice president for sales, marketing and customer service. The company expects certification for the new version, early next year.
