Eagle Creek Aviation Completes Its Third Twin Commander

Twin Commander Aircraft (Booth No. C9432) announced that authorized service center Eagle Creek Aviation Services of Indianapolis has completed a third Grand Renaissance Commander for the Colombian Army. The 690B had sat idle for three years before being ferried to Eagle Creek for the 10-month modification and refurbishment.

During the process the airframe and systems were inspected, repaired and modified. Changes included upgrading the turboprop twin’s Honeywell TPE331-10T configuration, installing a medevac door that swings open 180 degrees, and adding Garmin G600 and GNS750/650 avionics. The customer uses the aircraft for VIP and medevac missions.
