Cedar Hill, Texas-based Dallas Aeronautical Services (Booth No. C6632), an FAA Part 145 repair station, has broken ground on a new 50,400-square-foot facility that will span more than three acres in the High Meadows Industrial Park in Cedar Hill, Texas

The new facility will feature two autoclaves, two custom paint centers, an environmentally controlled clean room, walk-in oven and a transmissivity test range. Within the new facility will be a complete machine shop with four and five axis and press forming capability, TIG and MIG welding, an NTD lab, structures shop, radome shop and advanced composite and thrust reverser overhaul shop.

Expanding further, the company announced at NBAA 13 that in the first half of 2014 it expects to grow its Dallas Aeronautical Services—Brazil division, located in São José dos Campo.
