Aviall Makes Staffing Changes Near the Top

Aviall, a Boeing Company, has been shaking things up near the top, as far as staff are concerned. The company announced during NBAA 2013 that Terry Scott has been named to a newly created position, senior vice president of business development.

In addition, Rich Teza has been promoted to vice president of sales and customer support, and Eric Nelson has been promoted to vice president of commercial engines and helicopter programs. Eric Strafel, senior vice president of operations, has expanded his responsibilities and is now assuming business leadership of Aviall's government and military programs. Strafel’s new title is senior vice president of operations and government programs. All three individuals will report to Ed Dolanski, who was named president and CEO of Aviall in July.

“These enhancements to our senior leadership team will enable us to increase our customer focus, compete more effectively and implement our aggressive business development strategy in the commercial and defense segments,” said Dolanski. “Aviall is well-positioned for future growth.”
