Brazilian operator TAM Executiva has awarded a contract to Vector Aerospace and its Seca subsidiary to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul covering engines in its fleet. The agreement includes repair, hot-section inspections, testing, modification, overhaul and parts distribution on PT6A and JT15D series turbine engines, and engine repair, major periodic inspection, testing, modification and core zone inspection on the TFE731 series.

The contract, which was announced at the LABACE show, includes the GEMS (global engine management service) program. The combined comprehensive service portfolio from Vector and Seca includes: the Rolls-Royce M250; Rolls-Royce T56/501D; Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6T, PT6A, JT1D, PW100, PW307 and PW308A series; Turbomeca Arriel 1 and Arriel 2; General Electric T58/CT58 and CT-7A/T700 engines; and Honeywell TFE731 and ALF 502/LF507.
