Air Charter Scotland officially joined the Wyvern Wingman ranks at the Avinode booth (1047) yesterday at EBACE. The company recently completed a successful Wyvern audit to become Wyvern Wingman qualified for the first time.
Operators that undergo an on-site safety audit and meet Wyvern’s standards receive a recommendation for use by all Wyvern clients.
Air Charter Scotland recently gained FAA Part 129 approval for operation within the U.S. It also added a Bombardier jet to its fleet this year, responding to increasing demand for charter services even in a difficult economic environment. The rest of Air Charter Scotland’s fleet consists of an Embraer Legacy 650, a Gulfstream G200 and a Cessna Citation.
Operators that pass Wyvern’s on-site audit also agree to post-auditing, which requires them to provide updated information on aircraft and crew. Wyvern’s database verifies the information daily, thereby ensuring the validation of the audit through the term of the recommendation.
As a Wyvern Wingman operator, Air Charter Scotland can run a Pilot and Aircraft Safety Survey (PASS) report on each flight they charter. The report provides real-time data on pilot information, including insurance coverage, medical qualification and flight time.
