Vector Aerospace has announced the grand opening of a new Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic PT6A engine MRO facility in Brisbane, Australia.

“Australia is a sophisticated aviation market and is an extremely important market for us in terms of the tremendous growth opportunities,” said Jeff Poirer, president of Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic.

The new engine facility will allow the Canadian firm to take advantage of these growth opportunities by offering operators throughout the region a variety of services. These include field service and engine repairs on the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, JT15D, PW300 and PT6T engine series, as well as complete overhaul and test capability on the PT6A.

Also here at Heli-Expo, the company has announced that Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic has appointed Paul Bland as regional sales and service manager for New Zealand and the following areas of Australia: Southern Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania. Bland brings 22 years of aviation experience, much of it for some of the industry’s largest MRO suppliers and original equipment manufacturers.
