An American Airlines Boeing 757 pilot was the target of a laser illumination while on approach to San Juan’s Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (TJSJ) in Puerto Rico. The pilot sustained an eye injury of unknown severity. The aircraft landed safely a few minutes after the incident, which happened at about 3:30 a.m. local time on November 16.
