The Transportation Safety Board of Canada announced its updated safety watchlist on June 14. TSB chair Wendy Tadros said in a televised news conference, "We produced our first safety watchlist two years ago and it quickly became the TSB's blueprint for progress, with 41 specific recommendations. Today, more than one-third of those have been corrected." Tadros said the TSB is particularly concerned about a lack of improvement in reducing aircraft overrun accidents.
