Italy’s parliament passed proposed changes to the aircraft luxury tax today, according to NBAA. The revised law, which increases the exemption for foreign-registered aircraft in Italy from 48 hours to greater than 45 days in one year, will take effect May 2. Non-scheduled charter flights are still exempt from the luxury tax, but the just-passed bill includes a new passenger tax for commercial flights.
