Research Frontiers and licensee Vision Systems announced at the Aircraft Interiors World Expo in Hamburg, Germany, that Vision Systems is investing $750,000 to expand its existing factory in France and will add a production facility dedicated to the manufacture of its SPD-Smart Nuance and Noctis electronically dimmable windows and cabin dividers.

It also plans to establish a similar factory in the U.S. next year for production of SPD-Smart products, including SPD-Smart Nuance and Noctis.

In the past year, Bombardier, HondaJet and other OEMs have showcased Vision Systems’ SPD-Smart products at industry events.
