Each year Argus Pro compares a number of private and commercial operators' compliance with ISBAO Safety Management System standards to better understand overall SMS effectiveness. During 74 flight department audits in 2011, two thirds of the audits showed variance in standards from flight departments' general operating manuals, while nearly half the audits also uncovered variance from SMS training guidelines.
