Cessna 208B, Northwest Territories, Canada, Oct. 4, 2011–The Grand Caravan went down in rain approximately 125 miles east of Yellowknife and 25 miles from its destination of the remote community of Lutselk’e. According to authorities, the pilot decided to turn the aircraft around for unexplained reasons. Contact with the turboprop single, which operated as a regularly scheduled Air Tindi flight, was lost soon after.  The pilot and one passenger died in the crash, which destroyed the aircraft, while the remaining two passengers suffered serious injuries. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating the accident.

Cessna 208B, South Cerney, UK, Sept. 24, 2011–The turboprop single, operated by a skydiving company, overshot the runway while landing at RAF South Cerney Airfield. According to reports, the Grand Caravan ended up wedged in a hedge; the pilot, the sole person on board, suffered minor injuries in the accident.
