Innotech Aviation is expanding its facility and maintenance, completion, paint, avionics and refurbishment services with particular emphasis on Bombardier’s Global series. A spokesman for the company told AIN an additional 29,000 sq ft is being added to the existing 180,000-sq-ft facility. “The addition will focus on interior completion and maintenance for the Global series.” Tony Rawlinson, Innotech director of sales and marketing, said, “There are more than 400 Bombardier Globals in service worldwide. With the first Global Express customer delivery made in 1999, many of the ultra-long-range aircraft are due for an “8C/10-year major inspection and are now being booked into our facility almost a year in advance.” Innotech Aviation, a Bombardier-authorized service facility, is located in Montreal’s aerospace cluster near Bombardier’s manufacturing plant, a FlightSafety and CAE training center, a Rolls-Royce engine maintenance and overhaul center, and Messier Dowty, which makes the Global landing gear. “Our proximity to this concentration of suppliers allows Innotech to deliver faster service than any competitor,” Rawlinson said.
