Air Works India, an MRO based in Mumbai, was named today at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (Ebace) in Geneva as an authorized service center (ASC) by Dassault Falcon. Initially it will serve as a line service center offering 24-hour troubleshooting, line maintenance and inspections, up to 2B, for the Falcon 900EX and 900EASy series. Air Works India is a CAR Part 145 repair station approved by the Indian National Authority. The 47,000-sq-ft Mumbai service center has 10 technicians dedicated to working on Falcons. The company has a 15-year history of working on Falcons. Dassault Falcon also announced the appointment of Jetalliance Technical Services in Vienna, Austria as a line service center for Falcon 2000 classics and yesterday Jet Aviation Hong Kong was named an authorized line service station. Jet Aviation is located on Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok Airport and will support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance up through A and A+ level checks for all current production Falcons. These approvals bring Dassault’s worldwide ASC network to 28 facilities.
