Pats Aircraft Systems has announced the signing of a major refurbishment contract for the new owner of a Boeing Business Jet based in the Asia-Pacific region. Work is already under way at the independent completion and refurbishment center.
Pats will perform the major interior overhaul at its Georgetown, Del.-based facility. The scope of the refurbishment includes modification or replacement of nearly all existing interior elements, including seating layout re-configuration, finishing materials, soft goods and cabin management and entertainment systems. Pats will also handle aircraft maintenance and oversee the exterior paint.
As with all BBJs, it is being equipped with a Pats auxiliary fuel system, giving the twinjet a range of approximately 5,900 nm.
