Global parts supplier STAG (Specialist Technologies Aerospace Group) is on hand at the Paris Air Show (Hall 2B  Stand E101) to explain its supply chain optimization program. The UK-based company, which has SpecTech divisions in the U.S. and France, uses new stock management technologies such radio frequency identification (RFID) to maintain its inventory of hundreds of thousands of line items for jets, turboprops, piston engines and helicopters. “Our application of low-cost RFID to an already super-slim management system allows clients to benefit from our global sourcing/logistics capability and low-cost operations,” said Chris Osborne, the company’s director of operations.
