Lake Charles, La.-based Era Training Center received FAA Part 60 Level 6 qualification for its AS 350B2 flight simulator training device (FSTD). The FSTD, built by Frasca International, offers an exact cockpit replication. Frasca performed flight testing, model development and certification. Era provided the helicopter for flight testing. The company’s 7,694-sq-ft training facility also features an EC 135 CPDS P2+ FSTD, which received the same certification early last year.
